WE ARE HERE TO MAKE CHANGE

A group of young activists meet at a training camp to dedicate their lives to preparing for The Action. Except, no-one seems to know what The Action is. Or why they’re doing it… A satirical exploration of digital protest, extractive activism and the optics of justice, commissioned as part of the venue’s Open Court SW1 programme.

YUMMY

The year is unknown. The players are nameless. Money is king. Being picked is God.

Four Black femmes have made it to the last round of the game, everything is at stake yet nobody is eating.

The rehearsed reading of YUMMY examined the relationship between diet culture, fatphobia, anti-Blackness, self-harm, class and misogyny. A full-length version is currently under commission.
